Like common emergency rooms, we are open 24/7. You will always be treated immediately, as there are little to no wait times. We offer the highest technology in testing equipment and have fully licensed staff and board-certified physicians that are specially trained in emergency situations. Unlike regular hospital emergency rooms, you will have a more relaxed experience with many additional perks.
Yes. We have emergency exam rooms that are specifically geared toward handling how a child mentally handles emergencies. Members of our staff that specialize in pediatric trauma are always available to help at any time of crisis.
We follow the “prudent layperson standard” in an emergency. If someone non-educated in the medical field determines that they are experiencing extremely severe symptoms, then that person can be considered to be having an emergency medical condition.
Our staff can electronically prescribe and send your prescription medications anywhere that can receive them. If you do not have a regular pharmacy, we can send your medications to a pharmacy that is close to the center where you received treatment so that it is the most convenient for you.
We accept most private and commercial insurance providers. Our dedicated staff can also verify your insurance coverage at the time of your visit.
Credit card, cash, and checks are all accepted forms of payment for all Altus Emergency Centers. We also honor HSA/FSA spending accounts.
Unfortunately, we do not accept those types of insurance at this time.
At Altus, we will help you determine which hospital will provide you with the best care for your specific condition. Choices will be offered to you and your family so that you can make the best decision possible.
