Our Patient Advocate division is made up of wonderful and caring people. They will assist you and your family in understanding the intricate elements involved with your visit to the emergency room.

Altus Emergency Center will help you and your family navigate through all of the aspects of your visit to our centers by working with experienced doctors and skilled nurses to get through the bureaucratic jargon spoken by insurance companies.

Fighting for You

The Patient Advocate Department at Altus continues to work on your behalf even after you leave our care centers. They review all EOB (Explanation of Benefits) sent to us by insurance companies to make sure that you were covered correctly. They can also help you with financial arrangement, hardships, and assistance.

It is our job to make sure your emergency care goes as smoothly as possible, and that includes mediating between insurance companies and our patients. We will even make sure that claims are processed correctly, and that you are treated fairly and honestly. No one is fully prepared during an emergency.
